Posting again my search for Hampsons who moved to America. I have only three, second generation Hampsons to go by: (1) LAURA AUGUSTA HEMPSON, born 28 June 1865 in Tarrytown, NY (or possibly Yonkers, nearby), married George Stainton TELFORD from St. Bees, Cumberland, and died 1906 in NY City and (2) a sister, FRANCINE who married Apsley BOULDING in NY and ELI HAMPSON, from Yonkers, NY who served in the Union forces in the Civil War (photo here).
