I am searching for any information on Thomas Hampson and Sarah Dawson, who were married in Prestwich, Lancashire in 1810. I believe this Hampson family was Catholic. Thomas may have been a painter. His sons James, William and Joseph, and daughter Martha emigrated to Australia from the 1840s, but others may have stayed in England. I have no idea when Thomas was born, or where, or even details of his death, despite a lot of searching. Nor have I any other information on Sarah Dawson - but I'm keen to find out! Any connections?
