Hi: I'm looking for parents and family of Laura Augusta Hampson who was supposedly born in Tarrytown, NY on 28 June, 1865. She married my grandfather, George S. Telford, a Cumbrian, who came to America in 1882, and she died of the Dropsy on 17 Feb, 1906 in NYC and was buried in Kensico Cemetery. She was rumored to have 6 or more siblings, but the only one I knew was Francine who married Apsley Boulding and lived on 105th St. in NYC. Francine (Nana) died childless, a widow, on Staten Island. There was supposed to be a brother who served in the Union Army and was a prisoner in Richmond, VA, but I suspect it was more likely Laura and Francine's uncle. I lack any information on their parents, siblings, etc., so any information would be gratefully received. Bob Telford, Long Beach, CA
