My maiden name is Hampson, and thanks to finding my dad's cousin here on these message boards I was able to locate alot of the Macclesfield Hampsons we are related to. Now my mission is to try to find my grandad's wife. My grandad, Joe Hampson died in about 1975 and my grandmother, the Irish catholic Anne Veronica Burke died abt 1959. I believe she came from Galway co Ireland. She was very active in community theatre, especially musicals. Jo and Anne (Burke) Hampson had three children, all still living, the oldest, Joe in NZ, and twins Vincent and Frank (my father) in Australia. any help with information or point me in the right direction to find Anne Veronica Bourke's parents and ancestry would be greatly appreciated.
