(b1870 Stretford) 1881 RG11/3888 f.87 - 11 Taylors Square William (now general labourer), Ann, John W. (gen. lab.), Alice (nurse girl), Mary J., Annie (b.1873 Stretford), Kate (b.1875 Stretford), Amy (b1877 Stretford) 1881 RG 11/3888 f.113 - 89 King Street (head: John Lowe) Ellen (domestic servant) 1891 RG12/3159 f.117 - 11 Taylors Square William (now Local Board navvy), Ann, John W (washerwoman's packer), Alice (laundress), Mary J. (box maker), Amy, Jemima (b1882 Stretford) and Elizabeth G (grand-daughter b1889 Stretford) 1901 RG13/3665 f.93 - 1 Lacy Street, Stretford William (gen. lab.), Ann, John William (shipper's packer), Alice (no occ.), Mary Jane (junket powder maker), Kate, Amy (also junket powder maker), Jemima (buttonhole maker), and Elizabeth Gertrude (no occ.) So it looks as if the John that was linving at Diamond Court in 1861 is the same as the John William of later years. So thanks for the info. Best wishes Ian
