CHRISTOPHER HAMPSON(2) chr.on 16/06/1823 in Glossop/Whitfield.He married ANN WARHURST in the late 1840s,presumably in Glossop. They started their family in Glossop but by 1851 they had moved to West Sculcoates,Hull,where my greatgrandmother,MARY JANE ,was born on 13/07/1851. >From my observations,it seems that in all three generations girls were predominant.But in 1870/69 CHRISTOPHER HAMPSON (3) was born-by then the family had moved to Patricroft,Lancs. Any info on the family much appreciated,especially going further back.
