1-16-03 I wish I could be of more use to you. My Great Great Grandfather, Joseph Hampson arrived from England with a wife and two sons. He based himself in Newburgh, New York for reasons I still cannot determine. His wife died there and he remarried and then died there himself eventually. I have even gone to find his grave in the cemetery. The Library in Newburgh does have quite a good genealogy department. I am sorry that I can't be of more help to you. Cuyler Kidney
