James married a Sarah unknown in England. They had 2 children that I know of: Sarah Hampson born abt.1851 England-married Henry Pember s/o Joseph and Hannah. John S Hampson born abt 1849 England. I have found James in the 1871 Canadian Census: age 55 Porter I'm unable to do a microfiche lookup but the record is: Wentworth South(022) Barton(C) Div 1 Page 12 Microfilm reel #C-9923 Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
