CH [1] born in Patricroft in 1870/69 in 1881 he was at 138 Turf Lane , Chadderton in 1901 he was at 20 Palatine Road , Blackpool was the son of : CH[2] Chr. on 16 June 1823 in Glossop [ born Whitfield] in 1841 still in Glossop in 1851 in West Sculcoates/ Hull with wife Ann + growing family - teaching at Dock Green School. in1881 in Chadderton - an agent for water filters. was the son of : CH[3] presumably born abt 1800 marries to Eliz. Hepworth on 14 Nov 1822 in Glossop He had sisters : Sarah,Molly Hague,Hannah & Martha Each CHRISTOPHER HAMPSON seems to be the only boy in his generation , as far as I can tell.
