    3. Happy New Year to one and all! Whilst pondering the problems my Greatgrandfather presents it occurred to me to try and circumvent him and look for his father. My ggf was Alfred Ross Hampson born somewhere in london about 1850. His father was Alfred Hampson who was a butler and who died before 1877, This I know because I have Alfred Ross's marriage certificate. As i have said elsewhere Alfred Ross was a Music Hall performer but did not perform under his own name so tracking him down is difficult. If anyone has come across Alfred senior I would love to know about it. He would have been born between 1800 and 1830 but i have no idea where. Ralph Hampson

    3. Happy New Year. i am getting twitchy about 0900gmt 2/1/2002 when i hope to find a bit more of the history of my music hall greatgrandparents. I am still working on the Hampson database and also on the medieval part of the Bulbeck family and also the Cuckston family. 3. Hi everyone, I've recently been bought a copy of the above archive which lists British Isles birth, baptism and marriage records transcribed by the LDS. There are 5 CD's worth, which amounts to some 5 million entries for the period 1538 to 1888. If anyone wants a lookup doing from this archive please e-mail me with details and I'll gladly do so. -- Cheers, Anne mailto:Anne.Nichols@ukgateway.net
