The story about the demise of Double Decker buses was in our paper a couple of days ago along with a picture from Associated Press. What I found interesting was that the 159 bus was the one that I used to take when I lived in Thornton Heath. It still turns around at the clock tower and the route has not changed in all those years! It did look like there was graffiti on the bonnet of the first bus.
