Hi everyone I have been made aware of a first cousin of my mum's that no-one in my generation had any knowledge of until recent years. Due to a severe physical condition, he appears to have spent a great deal of time in hospital care. I know that people have been able to access hospital records at times. Can anyone advise, please, how open this is. Is it at the discretion of the hospital or does it depend on information not being divulged within a certain time-frame etc, etc. Any suggestions/experiences along these lines would be helpful. I have tried 'googling' without success. I assume the hospital no longer exists. Maureen, NZ
