Mine were great ones for maintaining the names thru each generation and Charles does not feature in the usual list. However, that said, if any of yours have links to travellers/Gypsies or they were sweeps, chair bottomers, umbrella makers or knife & razor sharpeners, then it could always be worth doing more research. Out of interest, I have my own line documented back to Stephen BULL b Bradford on Avon c 1732, with a tenuous line back to Steeven son of Robert, Chr. March 1629.
