    3. Hi Listers I have just received a photo from a newly discovered American cousin. At the bottom it says "Photo by Smelt Fleet" Thomas Smelt died in Fleet in 1914 and in 1881 he was resident in Basingstoke. I believe the photo to have been taken about 1867 but was Mr Smelt snapping away in Fleet at that time.? I have tried Percy Vickery but he couldn't help. Can anyone else please ?
