    3. Hi Vicky, You have given me this info some time ago.("His body if recovered was never identified"). I have just finished watching "Secrets of the dead" which is about a DNA project to identify the unknown baby child that was recovered from the Titanic sinking. This went some way to explaining why so many bodies were not identified or claimed by relatives Regards Bazzer Portchester Fareham Hampshire http://www.clarkeology.com----- Original Message ----- From: "historyresearch" <historyresearch@supanet.com> To: <HAMPSHIRE-LIFE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, March 10, 2003 10:57 AM Subject: Re: [HantsLife] Colin Whitlock Hi Bazzer, I don't know if he is buried there but there is a memorial plaque to Charles Valentine Clark, Second class passenger aged 29 at the church of St Peter and St Paul, Wymering. My book says Wymering is in Sussex, but I know that it is in Hants. My other book says that he came from Grange Lane, Netley and boarded the Titanic at Southampton. Obviously, he may have been one of those whose bodies were never found. 3. I thought it was a fascinating programme, and very moving to see families reunited with the bone(s) of their tiny long lost relative. Can you imagine the horror of dealing with so many bodies, and finding that of a one year old child. It is no wonder the kind fishermen were determined to provide a decent burial.
