Mud pies were the best!!! Good pile of soft earth, stones, worms and lumps removed. Mix with a little water to get nice dough like consistency. Spread evenly onto old plates or saucers. Decorate with fresh dandelion heads, daisies or whatever happens to be inseason. Share amongst guests. Wash down with rain water from water butt. For special occasions ask mum for a jug of genuine tap water.
