Today I visited Buckler's Hard near Beaulieu and if the person is interested, there is a plaque on the first house on the right at the top of the slope in Buckler's Hard village which says "Joseph WORT, 1774". I only noticed it as we were about to leave so I know nothing else about it, but thought that you might be interested. If you are then I should think that Buckler's Hard Museum would be the people to tell you more about it.
