Hi Chris and Caroline, I was at the semi final. Great day. Not strictly genealogy but the Saints History is so tied up with the history of the Bells of, and the Church of St Marys Southampton that I hope I will be forgiven. The Hampshire Record Office published a booklet in 1999 (no 9 in the Hampshire Papers Series) called "Association Football in Hampshire until 1914" by Norman Gannaway for those who think that members of their families might have been involved in the sport. I don't know if it is still available but it was priced at £1 from the Record Office in Winchester. Yours Vicki
Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Thanks for this news. Derek, NZ

This has been a wonderful, an > outstanding year for Hampshire football > > 1. Saints - FA Cup Finalist and almost certainly a UEFA Cup entrant next > year > 2. Pompey - almost certainly assured of promotion to the Premier League. > 3. Bournemouth - an outside chance of promotion to Division 2. > Don't forget Farnborough Town's run in the FA Cup.
