In reference to the following statement: "Hear you are twenty one today, for the third time!!" - When asked how old one is on a birthday, we respond in the USA - "twenty one and holding" OR "twenty nine and holding" OR "thirty nine and holding"..rounding off to the nearest number and maintaining at that age. It actually does make a person feel younger when saying it! My English father used to say - "I'm as old as my little finger and older than my front tooth!"
