Hello all I joined five rootsweb mailing lists this morning - Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Norfolk, Buckinghamshire and London. As a first post, I listed surname interests with a time period and particular places. I've just had an email from the London site, telling me my message has been rejected for being 'inappropriate'. Has anyone else received a response like this? I thought 'inappropriate' in these terms meant being rude, or offensive. I have asked for an explanation but haven't got one yet. I might add that my postings to the other sites have obviously been deemed acceptable, as I've already received replies. I'm a bit miffed, actually, speaking as a Londoner! Margaret
