Hello Everybody, I am hoping that somebody can please advise me how when using the latest version of Internet Explorer one can add an icon to the desk top for items in the 'list of favourites'. With the previous version it was simple but the latest version has floored me. Rod in Andover.
Cant you just right click on it copy and then paste onto desk top? Hello Everybody, Thanks for the replies to my query, I think the best thing to do is probably as suggested by Chris which is to uninstall the latest version. Can Chris please confirm that if that is done that the previous version will come back to life? Hi rod, I couldn't get on at all with IE7, so went to control panel, add / remove programs, then selected Internet Explorer 7 from the drop down list, and clicked the add / remove button. It takes you step by step through the process of uninstalling IE7 and leaves you with IE6. That's what happened to me anyway, and I had no problems at all whatsoever. All the best, Jon
Hello Jon and Chris, Thanks for the answers to my second query regarding Internet Explorer version 7, I think I shall get rid of it in the near future. Rod.
