Whoever said "seek and ye shall find" was NOT a genealogist. Genealogy is life in the past lane. Only a Genealogist regards a step backwards as going forwards. Genealogy is not fatal, but it is a grave disease. Genealogist's don't die they just lose their census. Genealogists are ancestrally challenged. Genealogists do it for the memories. I think my ancestors had several "bad heir" days. My family tree is full of NOT holes...it's NOT him, it's NOT her.... My roots only go down so far, but my branches spread forever. Life is lived forwards, but understood backwards. Originality is the art of concealing your sources. Genealogists never lose their jobs, they just go to another branch.
