    3. hello all, Calling South Africa and/or former Rhodesia. Can anyone help me with an address or contact in South Africa/former Rhodesia that I can write to regarding a medal that has been found in my late aunt's effects? The medal was definitely not issued by the British Army. The front and obverse have these words; Relief of Mafeking Rhodesia Victoria Regina et Imperatrix South Africa and round milled edge: 773 TBP (or TPR[Trooper??]) EW Smith S Rhod Vols I have been told by a medal expert that it would have been issued in South Africa or former Rhodesia, and the MOD says that there were several of these Volunteer Militias loyal to the Crown, but not controlled by it, during the Boer War. So they have no records. Any help gratefully received. Yours Vicki
