    3. For those of you who like to carry out their own research, part of the Free Census project is now on line, you can see it at http://freecen.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl Mind you it is only portions of the records as it is all being done by volunteers and will take many more moons to get it all transcribed, checked, validated and then on line. If you would like to see it done quicker, I am sure we can use many more volunteers, if you would like to give a couple of hours of your time contact me. No fiche reader required although in some instances it can be handy. I also have a transcription of the 1851 Census for Winchester, if you would like any look ups. Pat in Oz

    3. It depends on your ISP. I have had access since 3 July, and the search facility is working well. NTLWorld users were scheduled to have immediate access, Freeserve users after 30 days, and AOL users after 40 days or so. Message From: "Makjeerra" <makjeerra@tsn.cc> To: <HAMPSHIRE-LIFE-D@rootsweb.com> Subject: 1891 Census on Line you can see it at http://freecen.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl ~~~ Thanks for this reminder, Pat. Have just visited again after a long absence & found the family of my maternal grandpa's cousin that I just recently discovered on the 1881 & 1901. I may also have found the parents of my paternal granny so I'm well pleased. Cheers. Maureen, NZ
