The results were as follows Using 7200 resolution it took 3 minutes to scan the frame Resultant file size was 106Mb .(a problem if you don't have at least 128Mb RAM) In PSP the original size ratio was 22.1 Zooming in to ratio of 1 .1 the lines of text were blurred and impossible to read. There were 98 frames on one fiche , actually scanned in one operation only 9 appeared through the film mask on the scanner, so we are talking of 11 scans at 3 mins per scan so about 1Gb of hard disk for each fiche.
