I have spent today at the Hampshire RO and obtained many interesting pieces of information some of which I photocopied. On closer inspection this evening the burial at St Mary Sholing in 1893 reads as follows Name Rachel Breadmore Abode Sholing When buried Jan 9 1893 Age 72 years By whom the ceremony was performed Burial Act 1880 Certified by Francis Breadmore Francis was Rachel's husband and all the other entries (except one) have the name of the Vicar in this column.
