    3. Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has access to Heckfield Hants Parish Records. I have found the below living next door to my grandfather and his family in the Oxfordshire 1891 census (my transcription of original page which is very faint and difficult to read). Sched 81 *****End Cottage William Sellwood Head age 20 (or 30) agriculural lab born Theale Emma Sellwood Wife age 34 born Eckfield Berks (Heckfield) John Sellwood son age ? born Mapledurham Emma Sellwood Dauh 10mths born Eckfield(crossed out) Mapledurham Mary Jo Sellwood Neice age 12 born Ekfield George Sellwood B of L , H or S ****** age 20 Agricultural Labourer born Cookham (I think that the Bof L etc is brother of Head. ) Although obviously a relative, he is not a son as far as my research tells me so far. My interest is really in Mary Jo SELLWOOD who according to the census was born in Heckfield, but I can find no Sellwood family living there in 1881 or 1901. William SELLWOOD, in fact, died in 1892 whilst his wife Emma (nee NEW) was carrying his youngest daghter, Elizabeth. She was baptised at Mapledurham and the register noted her father's death. In 1901 Emma was at Spencers Wood with her children. If neice Mary Jo was christened at Heckfield, the birth entry might (or might not) give me some clue as to the family. Any help gratefully received. Vicki Turner
