For those who might be considering putting there family tree on there own web pages this software will be of great value. Overview GED4WEB is a Windows® 32bit program (Win95, Win98, NT, XP, ME, and 2000) that exports GEDCOMs, pre-existing genealogy files, to HTML files (web source format using HyperText Markup Language codes) for publication on the Internet. GED4WEB was developed when I found while researching my own family tree, that low cost programs having features such as multiple output formats, security options, color-coded generations for easy viewing and more, were not available.
