Chris, et al, Thank you for your thoughts. My wife covered the Challenger explosion 17 years ago, and unfortunately has been called again into service for the television networks. With her I was fortunate enough to meet several of the astronauts - I consider them to be the American heroes of current day. They are wonderful people, and courageous. I had stepped out my door to watch here in the Dallas area, as the shuttle passed over. As I watched, the breakup of the craft began...it was horrifying. Thanks Charles It was a great loss for the world not just the US as they were doing it for mankind. Like the heroes who did all the things centuries ago to make the world a better place for us today, these men are doing it for our next generation and generations to follow.
