I too, extend my deepest sympathies to family & friends, of the Crewe of the "Columbia". Such a dreadful waste of life, in a peaceful cause. My wife covered the Challenger explosion 17 years ago, and unfortunately has been called again into service for the television networks. With her I was fortunate enough to meet several of the astronauts - I consider them to be the American heroes of current day. They are wonderful people, and courageous. I had stepped out my door to watch here in the Dallas area, as the shuttle passed over. As I watched, the breakup of the craft began...it was horrifying. All I can think is, God Bless each of the astronauts for their bravery.
