Hi List, I have Samuel MASON marrying Elizabeth LYMPOSS 03/06/1846 at St. Mary, Portsea. Could anyone find them on the 1851 census please? I believe that Samuel was a seaman at the time of his marriage. Any help much appreciated as I'm trying to research what happened to the LYMPOSS part of my family and it's a bit like pulling teeth!!!!! Best wishes, Linda

However, there were many names in Hampshire with the spelling LIMPUS. Maybe it's worth looking into this variation. A couple of my Van Santens came up as Orasanton & one of my husband's Lightwings was transcribed as Lishtming, so anything's possible! Good luck in your search. Kind regards Maureen, NZ
