G'day, I've been researching my maternal great grandmother's family, Heath, for some time now & at this stage I'm a bit lost. My GGGrandfather was William Heath c1833 - 18/3/1906. He was described as a master cabinet maker of 102 Queen St Twyford. He was also an amateur artist & photographer. I'm lucky enough to have inherited 3 of his paintings & a number of his photos. His 1st wife was Kate Mary Louisa Sophia Howard Packer c1836 - 24/11/1868. Their 6th child was my GGrandmother Mary Howard Heath 4/2/1864 - 21/3/1947. I believe that William's parents were William & Sarah. Kate's father was a George Packer who died on 27/6/1860. William & Kate's 1st child was Clara Louisa 7/9/1855 - 23/8/1916. Clara was a keen photographer, I have a number of her photos & note that some of the Twyford photos on the Southern Life site are very like ones that Clara took. According to Clara's obituary notice the family had been described as having been Twyford residents for around 200 years, with strong connections to St Mary's. Is anyone researching this family or does anyone have some clues as to where I should refocus mine? regards from Rob in the Antipodes
