That was Coombes' yard Brian Spent many a good hour or two in there looking for bits of the car! Like a treasure trove, used to find all sorts in the old cars there the "family" had missed. Found a wallet in there once with £20 in it!! One chap found a dead dog in the boot of an old Austin Maxi!! Sadly all gone now but the rotting hulks in the Itchen by the bridge are still there. Remember once you could see Lady Dockers old yacht there as it had been impounded due to fees for repairs not being paid.
