Well the New Year has come and what a start!! War, fires, floods and lots more doom and gloom to keep us all on our toes. At present we have 215 subscribers to the L list and 104 to the digest, so where are you all? ---------------------------------------- We would like to welcome Seamus back from his hospital stay and hope that he is in fine form again, he was sadly(?) missed and going by the quips and remarks is a popular addition to the list!!! ----------------------------------------- Seems like one or two of our subscribers have become grandparents for the first time so hope you keep those family records handy! And well maintained. ----------------------------------------- People have been emailing us saying that they are not getting the postings, this we are sorry to say is beyond our control and nine times out of ten it is the subscribers own ISP that is causing it, as Rootsweb just forwards the postings that come in. But they have had one or two server problems and one or two of you found yourselves unsubbed due to this. But the most prolific unsubbing comes from people not emptying their mail boxes, if you go away for a few days and get a lot of email in then unsubscribe till you get back then you can always catch up by visiting the archives. All digest subscribers can retrieve Digests from the e-mail accessible archives.
