We took exception to a later mailing which included the phrase "> Chinese, Indian, Algerian, Slav, Afghan - you name it we have it and it can > be all in one little street, problem is most of them now have British > Nationality so are classed as locals" We cut and pasted the phrase into our reply and thought it was clear to what we were commenting on. We are not proposing to comment any further on this thread but felt it necessary to defend our position on list in response to yours. Linda & Tony

With reference to the email with the phrase below, which it seems that Tony and Linda have taken "exception to" This was in NO WAY meant as racist, or anything else BUR to explain the differences in nationality that can be found in ANY one street in the UK today, and also in many other countries. And as we have stated they are classed as locals meaning that they ARE part of the community we all live in. Everybody has their own interpretations and beliefs and we do not with to condone or condemn these beliefs. Especially as two of our oldest friends are Chinese and we have to Yugoslavian friends as well.
