"The story of Aldershot" by Howard Cole states that it was named after the Chrismas family who farmed Park Farm, Aldershot for three generations. Sidney Chrismas J.P. was Mayor of Aldershot in 1968/69. I remember him presenting prizes at my school in Farnborough some years earlier.
