People can comment on others, but have they met them personally, talked to them.. reckon if they had, their opinions would be entirely different. I stood for local Council last year... am rather pleased that I did not get sufficient votes, as you have to tow the line... not be outspoken like I am known to be... but I accepted the challenge which the locals put before me.. they asked me to stand.. give it a go... we need some one like you.. a stirrer.. someone who can speak their own mind.. I was very surprised that the locals actually confronted me, and said, please stand... it was a good fight... but must admit.. rather pleased I did not get on.. and wont stand again!! Adele

I did not know Hitler, Mussolini, Hirohito, Stalin or Lord Haw-Haw either, but that didn't stop me from disliking them. I didn't like Edward Heath, to me he looked slimy, & was deceitful & unforgiving of those that disagreed with him. (ie. Enoch Powell & Margaret Thatcher) Churchill was the first post war politician to suggest rebuilding and trading with Europe. But, he was against joining with them as economic partners. Just like you I am allowed to express my opinions.
