I tell them it's more interesting to study Grandpa's life. They simply do not understand why I hate to go to bed... I'd rather do two hundred years of research work instead. Why waste the time we have on earth just snoring and asleep? When we can learn of ancestors that sailed upon the deep? We have Priests, Rabbis, lawmen, soldiers, more than just a few. And yes, there's many scoundrels, and a bootlegger or two. How can a person find this life an awful drudge or bore? When we can live the lives of all those folks who came before? A hundred years from now of course, no one will ever know Whether I did laundry, but they'll see our Tree and glow... 'Cause their dear old granny left for them, for all posterity, not clean hankies and the like, but a finished family tree. My home may be untidy, 'cause I've better things to do... 3. Hi! Hami and others, I was looking for a recent death for WEAR and found it in 1994, thanks to 1837online. Up to Dec. 1983 it was search for myself. Starting in 1984, the person's name was entered and the search was done for me. Marriages give the spouse's surname It can be expensive if you have a farly common surname, and there are four quarters in each year. I look on it as being cheaper than a trip to England. If anyone knows of a website where we can post our offer to do lookups from the information we obtain on our surnames, e.g. in my case all deaths of WEAR/E 1967-1983, please let me know. Thanks, Heather _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam? Get advanced junk mail protection with MSN 8. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail

    3. Hello all I am now going back over my EADES tree and going through some broken links. Can anyone advise or help with the following:- >From Family Bible Ann EADES bpt Bentley 25 JAN 1742 = William HODGER MAR 1762. If anyone has any info on William HODGER in their files I'd be interested. Any children known for this family? Also from Bible Thomas EADES bpt 24 MAY 1745 Bentley = Judith Crane of Eversley on 23 JAN 1779 at Heckfield. I have this family's siblings, but wondered about Judith CRANE, as I did find another mar for this name, and am wondering if anyone has any knowledge of Thomas EADES death at all. Again from the same Bible...any one know if this one is male or female Francis EADES bpt 02 FEB 1747 at Bentley. There isn't any marriage noted down for this one. Of course I am still trying to get back on these two EADES father...Francis EADES although he is in the phillimores as EAMES and somewhere else as EIDES, the Bible has him as Francis EADES bn yr 1715 married Elizabeth BANKS 04 OCT 1738 Linda and Tony tried a look up two years back in Bentley but the records were badly damaged so couldn't find anything for Francis's father. So I am still trying to find a mar for these two. What was the earliest marriages were registered in the R.O. please. cheers Cher --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. 2. My Grt. Grandparents were George ROGERS, born 1821 at Broughton, Hants. and Sarah MALT, born 1821 at Bullington, Hants. who were married at the Parish Church, Bullington, Hants on October 13,1845. On the Marriage Certificate her Father is identified as Thomas MALT. Have discovered there are MALT'S still living in the area, they are a very small family, and appear to be living in the towns and villages of Basingstoke, Eastleigh, Emsworth and several at the City of Winchester. As Thomas was a common name in the MALT family, [ it seems every family had at least one] does anyone have any ideas how I can find out where my Sarah fit in ? Regards, Pam.
