Come on, where is everyone, let's welcome our Chris back!! Nice to know he is still in the land of the living, from the joke he sent earlier, I had wondered what he had been up too, not saying any more, but he knows what I mean.. hate to embarrass him! But I did wonder.. wherever or not.... but then...he wouldn't would he? No he is happy as he is... As he says, back up... sounds ominous doesn't it... Adele Clareville.

Yes, as Pentony said, welcome back Chris, computers are wonderful till they go wrong. At least you have had extra time for the greenhouse, I bet the cucumbers are happy with the pampering you have been able to give them. Rod in Andover.
I second the welcome back, Chris! I'd thought everyone had just gone on holidays, and am glad to hear you are back up and running (no pun intended). Marilyn Canada
Hi all Your favourite administrator is back online!! What a fuss? Motherboard went down and so did the power supply. The latter turned out to be okay though but had to get a new motherboard, my sincere thanks goes to Kelvin on our Royal Signals Group and all the other signals lads who helped out. Anyway am now spending the day re-installing all my files and programmes, day? Probably take about three!! A word of warning if you have Windows XP Home edition ad have to fit a new motherboard or CMOS you will have to format your hard drive first as Windows will not re-install and work as all your old computer files from the motherboard will be null and void so make sure you do regular backups of stuff you feel important. Especially the family tree! Chris
Hi List I wonder if anyone could do a look up for me on the 1851 census I am looking for William Stephen Musson but could be Masson born 1839 in Enham Hampshire. I'm not sure which surname because on the 1861 census he is Masson and all other details its Musson and I'm sorry I don't know any other members of his family. Any help would be most appreciated Regards Sue
If the Royal Corps of Signals cannot get him back online, then NATO could be in trouble. The Southampton City Council now have a map of the city online in partnership with the Ordnance Survey. This includes maps from 1846 and 1870 these maps can also be overlayed by modern ones so you can see the differences today. You can also use the drop down menus to add schools, addresses and even sewers!! Only one casualty reported so far. Latest reports are they were "dummy nail bombs" and only the detonators exploded. Armed police have moved into University College Hospital and it is believed that a man connected with the incident ran in there. Peole describe a teenage man possibly dark skinned running from the train and out of the station. Some underground stations still closed but others are now opening.
