Hello folks, Just a note to let you know that I've been offline for about 36 hours setting up a new unformatted computer, so there has been a delay in dealing with the admin requests for the list. If anyone has written to me at the admin address It would be wise to resend your message. I don't think I've lost any emails in the transfer to the new machine, but I can't be certain. The default settings for Outlook Express are less than ideal. On the positive side, cutting edge technology has finally come to my corner of deepest Dorset. I've said goodbye to the coal-fired, flintlock action, rosewood-and-brass computer that I bought for 17/6d in the twentieth century. Now I do 'ave one of they new-fangled lectrizzical ones! Regards, Davy Cannon, Dorchester, Dorset. List Admin, Hampshire-Life List.

Windows Vista Some of you may be purchasing a new computer system with Windows Vista or upgrading your current one. Please remember most current programs (software and data CDs that require an install) weren't written for Windows Vista. Some may work in a 'legacy' mode some may not. Adobe Reader (latest version) should work on Windows Vista so you should not have problems with data CDs that contain pdfs. You may need to download the latest version though. This is a free download from adobe's website. Chris
