I have been away from this research for a while, and am not sure what correspondence and info there has been on these Census. If anyone is able, I would be grateful for a search for ROBERT HEATH in both. His second marriage was to Ellen NEWLAND at SELBORNE, in 1847 . One of the witnesses was John HEATH. I don't know of any children of the first marriage, or his wife's name. By 1851 Ellen was in Van Dieman' s Land,with baby daughter, Mary Ann Heath, who died a month after arrival there in 1850... I do not know his age at marriage, only that he was "an older man". . Ellen was about 21 when they married. I believe he was a carpenter. Thankyou very much to anyone who can help. Shirley (Australia)
