    3. Were Michael and Eliza married by 1851? I've found a 23 year old unmarried Michael Baker living with his widowed mother Sarah in Hartley Wintney. His birthplace is shown as Hartley Row (Ref. HO107/1680 ED2a Fol 257 P47). I haven't had any luck with Eliza. Best wishes, Lynda ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brenda" > . 3. Hi Brenda - I didn't see any Eliza DUFFEY born Woolwich but there is an Emma DUFFEY born Woolwich at the House of Industry, Carisbrook in 1851. this is in the district of Newport, Isle of Wight. As their first child appears to have been born Newport, Isle of Wight, this could be a link? Sorry if it's a false lead. Regards, Patsy - New Zealand PS I visited Wangaratta some years ago to research the local tobacco-growing industry. Is that where you are? If so, it's a lovely part of Victoria. > Can some kind soul help me please.
