Hi Gill In the 1861 census Benjamin Marsh was 23, a Painter, living at 10, Chapel View, Portsea with wife Ellen, 21, and son George B, ( Benjamin ??) 2. All born Portsmouth, George B was born Dec. Qtr 1859 2b/312. The only Marsh I can find for that timeframe on the GRO is for Benjamin Simon Bleathman Marsh, Dec Qtr 1837 7/90. Have a few more Bellinger & Marsh family from the 1861 census if you want them.
