I have a subscription to Ancestry.co.uk and have just looked at the 1851 sample for Thomas Skinner in Surrey and there was only one there in Rotherhithe which was not the one I was looking for. However, I have found the one I am looking for using the link (in the e mails). So I would assume it is not the sample.
