Dear Members I am looking for any information of my family from Houghton, Hampshire. I have gone back as far as : Paul Lavington born about 1744 He married Martha Bakingham in 15th December 1793 in Houghton, Hampshire. Theyhad 5 children. Joseph, mary, James.John, Sarah Paul died on the 23 th june 1829 also in Houghton Hampshire where it states that he was 85 years old when he died. I am trying to find Paul's birth and his parents. I found his mother ( mary lavington ) who died in Houghton, Hampshire in 1808, but not a note about who his father was. From paul, 3 generations stayed in Houghton, Hampshire. I do not know where else to look as on your mailing list you do not have any information from Houghton, Hampshire. I found all of this information from the Bishops Transcripts and parish Records. So if any body out there can help me I would be very grateful, maybe I have gone back as far as I can with this. Regards Jean Parker
