Hi guys The penny has finally dropped as to the problem people are having with the search facility on my site, It belongs to Ancestry.com who sponsor the freepages and without them I would not have a webpage BUT it appears at the very top and people think it is a search facility for my site, so I have entered text which should appear just below the offending boxes to alert folks it is not mine. I could not see the problem people were having because I knew the advert had to be there and so I don't take any notice of it, and so forgetting that visitors would. I thought a separate window was appearing which was not what the problem was, of course. It just took one very kind lady who sent me an image of the page that made me aware of what was happening. Hope all is well now.
