I still have this " brick wall ", although it is not as high as it was ! I am looking for the marriage of SAMUEL BLANCHARD to REFRAIN ?. I have come across REFRAIN as a surname but not as a christian name. REFRAIN BLANCHARD died 30th Mardch 1831, aged 61, at Nurseling, abode given as Nurseling. Their first known child, DAVID BLANCHARD, was born 1803, Dibden, near Fawley, Hants. KEZIA JANE BLANCHARD born 13th Oct 1807 and baptised 23rd Aug 1809 at St. Marys Extra ( Woolston area ) Southampton. SAMUEL BLANCHARD was a Shipwright who, as far as I can find, worked both in the Southamptom area and the docks area of London after he was widowed, living with his son David and family, who was also a Shipwright. He died in Southampton in 1864. Does any of this ring any bells ? Any sugestions as to how I might find the marriage would be good. Margaret Can anyone
