Hello everybody I am researching my gg grandfather Henry HAWKINS who committed the crime of stealing six tame rabbits and a frock from John MARTIN and Elizabeth STEVENS in 1835 in the parish of Crondall, he was sentenced to 14 years and transported to Australia. On his marriage to Elizabeth SHANNON in 1858 Henry said he was from "Fawnham" in Surrey which I believe should be Farnham. I also believe he left a wife and daughter behind in Hampshire. Does anyone recognise Henry or maybe his family or can help me find his birth? With thanks Chris Randall
