Hello Linda and Tony. The birth of Henry in 1809 in Farnham Surrey looks good to me too as his eldest daughter to Elizabeth SHANNON was named Ann. Could be only coincidence though. I have the details of his possible marriage to Sarah ROOD. You kindly helped me with this before. Witnesses to this marriage included a William HAWKINS (could this be Henry's father or maybe a brother?). The other witness was a John SMITH. Since Henry said he had a daughter before being transported, would there be any way of checking the St Mary's parish register for a christening between 1833 and 1835? With thanks Chris Randall
