Dear all, I have not given up on finding the birth details of Paul Lavington 1744. ( YET) I have just been told about a thing called Settlement records. Does any body have access to these records in our group. i am hoping that maybe it might just turn up my Paul Lavington born 1744 with his parents father ?????? mother mary Lavington. Just to refresh your memory he married in 1793 in Houghton, Hampshire with his wife and children. Also his mother Mary died there as well in 1808. Just a shot in the dark but I had never heard of Settlement records before. you learn something new every day. Kind regards Jean ( Australia)
